The Return of the Insanely Interesting September

It seems that this is your first time to my blog. Welcome! In this blog I will share my ideas on how you can make a living in a way that feels good to you, your family, your environment and everyone around you. If you want to know more about me and this blog, check out my about page. And if you want to stay updated on my new posts, subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for stopping by!

This morning, the grass on our front yard was covered with frost. People were scrubbing ice off their windshields. The last signs of summer were long gone. While I still miss summer, in a bitter sweet way, I love the crisp, fresh air, the bright colors, and seeing the nature change into something new again.

Last year, we dedicated September for celebrating the insane interestingness of life.

It was a month full of inspiring posts and interesting interviews with people with different interests. Here’s a brief recap in case you missed the posts or want to have another look at them:

  1. 14 habits to turn your September into the most interesting so far
  2. Kim, Jason and what children can teach us about living an insanely interesting life
  3. Kevin D. Weeks, insanely interested in food
  4. What are you insanely interested in?
  5. The Coffee Sage, insanely interested in coffee
  6. Petri Purho and the Art of Creating a New Game Every Month
  7. 5 Small Lessons Learned From Carrying a Notebook Everywhere

Now it’s September again. And that means that it’s time to continue the tradition and roll out the second round of interestingness.

And as always, the second round must outperform the first.

So, here’s what you can expect to see in the month beginning today:

  1. Use cases: There will be interesting interviews with readers and public figures insanely interested in everything
  2. Tapping into your creativity: We’ll find out how creative you really are and talk about ways of making the most with the newly found talents.
  3. How to see more: Opening your eyes for the interestingness of your everyday life will be an eye-opening experience.

…and much more: We’ll continue our discussion on expertise and acquiring more of it. You’ll see new links to interesting blogs and web sites. And after the summer break, there will also be a new report on how my make money online challenge is going so far.

To me this is a time for making blogging more fun and enjoyable than ever before. I can’t wait to get the interviews rolling, and sharing my creativity experiments with you guys.

Subscribe to my RSS feed, and you’ll be right where the action is.

Have an insanely interesting September!

Sounds like a great month. It’s cool that you have it all planned out. I’d love to have my posts blocked out a month ahead of time, but right now that seems as likely as finding a diamond stuck in my tooth. Happy monday, and have a great week.

By the way, I can’t tell you how much I smiled when I saw your comment on Writing White Papers. It was one of my two favorites. Thanks.

Jarkko - looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

@Writer Dad: Don’t tell anyone, but I put this plan together on the same day over lunch ;) But I liked it so I thought I’d put some pressure on myself by releasing the plans out in public.

@Glen: Aww… That’s not fair :) We barely had any summer this year. According to the news this morning, we had less than half of the warm days we usually do in the summer… Most of the time it was raining.

But well, it was still warmer than winter ;)

    @Mark: Me too :D

Excited and aboard for the ride — looking forward to all of your great posts.

@Scrubs: Good to have you on board!

Our little secret. That public accountability really keeps us going.

Yes! I’m glad that we’ll be seeing more posts from you this insanely interesting month. I think I’m still suffering slight side effects of withdrawal from when you weren’t posting much. :-)
