Well, in school I always read through my workbooks first and then went back to do the work. I'm odd like that. Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing the guide book.

Hints? It's web related, and it's not an ebook. :-) I hope to release it at the end of June or beginning of July.

@Joshua: So, maybe this product is exactly what you'll need to make your mornings productive again! ;) It's not that much of something you read - more like a tool to act upon, a work book for your mornings, I would say.

I'm beta testing the product myself, and I must say that it works at least for me. But that's enough marketing talk for one comment... Right now, what I really need to do is to get the product completed :)

And you got me curious... Any hints on what your product will be about? And by the end of the month, do you mean end of May or end of June?

That's an awesome product idea, Jarkko. I used to have really productive mornings, though not so much in the last couple of years. I'm looking forward to reading it!

I'm also hoping to have a product for your store by the end of the month, too. (Top secret at the moment. :-) )

@Jess: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Steve - I think he was the first person to get me thinking about waking up early. Then there are of course the Christian influencers like Michael W. Smith and Phil Joel who encourage you to spend the mornings with God - praying and reading the Bible...

So many people are doing this that it can't be a bad idea ;)

What you say about bullet number 3, I know what you mean. What I do, is that in my morning rituals I read books that have short chapters - never novels or other long stories. Otherwise, I know that the same thing would happen to me...

@Mark: Sounds like a good idea. Maybe the morning ritual book will then be exactly what you need! ;)

Hey Jarkko - Very nice post. I really need to get into the habit of writing down my thoughts in the morning.

This is great, I've seen posts about morning rituals before- leo, steve pavlina - but I think you've written very nicely about how to actually design one for myself :)
I don't think number 3 will suit me, though, because if I start reading a book I probably won't get on to anything else that morning :D

I'll be really interested to read the Morning Ritual Guide Book! Good luck with it!
