Is Your Business About You?

November 29th, 2007 by Jarkko (8 Comments)

We have spent a few thoughts on the topic of what the secret thing we call “chemistry” between people really is all about, and we’ve shared our experiences in making friends and being a people person.

I just received my seventh deck of business cards. I have been working at this company for three and a half year so it means two decks of cards per year. My job title has changed, I have been promoted, my job title has changed again, and so on. And every time something like this happens, I get new cards.

This November on this blog I will be concentrating in just one topic: finding a way to make a living that is great for you, your family, and the people around you. Your dream job.

Last Saturday I started on the theme by writing about how we can help people in Africa build their dreams. Today it’s time to take a look at something a bit closer: you.

October was a good month for me because it proved that if I just keep adding valuable content to this blog, I am able to maintain a stable readership. But it was also a month of standing still and holding back. I didn’t take the extra steps required to find new readers, and because of that the blog didn’t grow.

That’s going to change now. This month will be a month of planting the seeds that will create growth. But first, let’s take a look back at October figures.
