I am looking into all manner of implications and actions - an easy one is switching to <a title="Energy Saving Lighting and Global Warming?" href="http://www.kulekat.com/articles/energy/led-home-lighting/energy-saving-lighting-and-global-warming.html" rel="nofollow">very low energy lighting</a>, since governments are going to force this upon us eventually anyway. There is of course something else you might consider in addition to “preparing” for the effects of global warming and that of course is trying to stop, or at least alleviate, it. But as my brother pointed out in his Blog Action Day post yesterday (in Finnish at http://ieatsushi.tumblr.com/post/15701637), that might well not be enough (or not even nearly enough). So basically we need to do dramatically alter our way of living to maintain our way of living. Or as I say in my post, the alternative is to start getting ready for a new, very different world, a bit like the one Australia is already experiencing. Definitely!
