Insanely Interesting Links: Insanely Interesting September Going Strong

It seems that this is your first time to my blog. Welcome! In this blog I will share my ideas on how you can make a living in a way that feels good to you, your family, your environment and everyone around you. If you want to know more about me and this blog, check out my about page. And if you want to stay updated on my new posts, subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for stopping by!

The second insanely interesting week of September has passed and it’s again time to look back.

  1. On Monday we spoke with Kevin D. Weeks about food, cooking and business.
  2. On Wednesday my readers Tiitus and Timo told their thoughts on what they are insanely interested in.
  3. On Thursday Audrey, the Coffee Sage shared some of her ideas on why she’s insanely interested in coffee.
  4. This week I also received the first post related to the group writing project: Living a more interesting life by Shirley. Shirley has a great blog about living a happy and positive life. Check it out!

What made this week even more exciting to me was that my first guest post at NORTHxEAST went live on Thursday: Curiosity Killed the Cat, but it Saved the Blogger!

And to finish up, here are some of this week’s most interesting links from the web:

  1. The 14 Best Sounds on Earth: Ravi Vora lists 14 great sounds with related images. While I don’t quite agree on all of them, the idea is amazing. And nothing really beats the sound of rain hitting a window.
  2. Essential Steps to Submitting an Article to a Magazine: Leo Babauta from Freelance Switch shares some important tips for getting your article approved to a magazine. An interesting read for people like me looking for freelance writing opportunities.
  3. Are you in danger of using work pressures as an excuse?: Carmine Coyote highlights a common, yet unspoken fact that many of us work overtime to avoid other problems in life. If that’s what you’re doing, it’s time to decide not to work overtime anymore.
  4. Insist on being yourself: Scott Ginsberg tells us to always be ourselves. No matter what the situation, if something is against your values don’t do it. Just say: “This is how I roll.”
  5. How reading gives us that AHA moment: Shirley talks about the importance of reading and starting it already at an early age: “Instilling a love of reading instills a love of learning, and who among us is not better off with a bit of that?”

What inspired you this week? Share your links and thoughts with the rest of us so we can all be inspired with you. Otherwise, have a relaxing weekend, and see you on Monday!
