Hi Lauri and Veera :)

Was it the movie from YLE Teema called something like "The truth about climate change" that you saw?

Turning off electrical devices is a pretty good start, but yeah you should become good at recycling - it's really important you know ;)

I found the following link yesterday. It has some good tips on what we can do to become part of the solution:
http://liveearth.org/crisis_solutions.php

And BTW, you are the winner of this giveaway, so if you don't have seen the movie yet, I'll send it to you :)

We just watched a documentary on the same subject and we have been thinking about this same question too. But to answer the question, we turn off every electrical device if we don't use it. It's important to turn off all the electricity from the device, not just put it on stand by. We are not very good in recycling, so that is one thing we could do more.

Good point, I forgot to mention that the DVD is the European version so to watch it you'll need to use the region code 2 on your DVD player, or a region code free DVD player.

I wish there was a way to change the legislation so that we could get rid of those region codes for good... They mean nothing but harm in this ever globalizing society we're living in.

Language isn't a problem as the DVD is spoken in English. In addition to that the DVD has subtitles in the following languages: German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch and Turkish.

Anyway, no matter where the person winning the DVD lives, I'll send it to him/her so that he can decide what to do with it himself...
